Founder and Partner
Gregg is a seasoned executive with a solid record of results oriented success in general management in large and small companies, public and private. He has arranged numerous financing transactions, led multiple mergers and acquisitions and has built and led a range of technology businesses from the ground up. Gregg has previously served as President & CEO of Hart InterCivic, CEO of BuildForge, which was acquired by IBM, and Founder & CEO of PerformanceRetail. Gregg has been a partner at Accenture and has held various executive positions at Schlumberger Ltd. in Paris, France. During these assignments, he acquired extensive international experience in multiple merger and acquisition transactions as well as turnaround activities involving both public and private entities.
In addition to his role in Vitesse, Gregg currently is Chairman of the Board of Hart InterCivic, Board Director of UnBound ID, a venture-backed identity management software company and Chairman of the Board of BeHive, an Austin based non-profit afterschool program for underprivileged children.
Gregg holds a Masters of Business Administration with Honors from the University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Southern California. He is a guest lecturer in entrepreneurship, venture financing and M&A at the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin.
John brings years of executive financial management experience in both public and private companies, both large and small. John has been actively involved in many mergers & acquisitions transactions on both the buy and sell-side. His financing transaction experience ranges from angel, venture capital and private equity financings to a wide range of secured and unsecured debt financings. John’s transaction experience includes high growth venture start-ups, leveraged turnarounds, and profitable middle-market operating companies.
In addition to his role with Vitesse, John serves on the Board of Directors at Charity Dynamics. John is also active in the Austin-area non-profit community and serves as a Director on the Boards of DiscoverHope Fund, Mothers’ Milk Bank at Austin, and the Austin Community College Foundation.
John holds a Masters of Business Administration in Finance and Entrepreneurship with Honors from the University of Texas and a Bachelor of Science from Texas A&M University.
Phillip is a tenured operating executive with extensive experience in a variety of executive roles, including corporate development, product marketing, and general management. He is passionate about strategic planning, customer satisfaction, profitable growth and market leadership. Phillip has overseen all phases of multiple mergers & acquisitions and business development transactions.
In addition to his role with Vitesse, Phillip currently serves as Chief Executive Officer and Board Director for Hart InterCivic and as a Board Advisor for Snap Trends, a venture-backed social media software company.
Phillip holds a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Dallas and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Texas at Austin.
Derek has a successful track record of success in enterprise software and technology businesses. His experience includes growing revenue in startup phases, leading large sales organizations and running complex daily operations. He has extensive mergers and acquisitions experience, including running integration teams.
In addition to his role with Vitesse, Derek serves as CEO of Datical, an Austin-based early-stage venture specializing in agile database deployments for Enterprise application releases.
Derek holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Houston.
